Equipment Manager


Pete is responsible for taking care of the team’s equipment needs including skate sharpening, hockey sticks, and equipment repairs. He makes sure the team is suited up and ready to go for every game.

He’s a native of London Ontario with a deep hockey experience that includes being a professional Hockey Athletic Trainer/ Equipment Manager for 10 years in the CoHL, SHL, CHL, ECHL and UHL. In addition, he has 20+ years of experience as Collegiate Athletic Trainer/ Equipment Manager with U of Waterloo (Canada), U of Western Ontario (Canada), Duke University and Elon University. Interestingly, he also coached the UNC Hockey team in 2012-14.


Most recently, in 2023, Pete was selected as the equipment manager for both Canada and the USA at the World University Cup of Hockey 2023 in Romania, helping Team USA win a Gold Medal.

Pete is Past President of Triangle Youth Hockey North Carolina. He is a graduate of The University of Windsor (Ontario) and holds a Bachelor of Human Kinetics and Post Graduate Diploma in Pedorthics.


Pete’s grandfather (Frank) and Great Uncles (Bill and Gerry) are all Stanley Cup Winners! Pete resides with his wife and family in Mebane, NC.
