Assistant Coach
Hailing from Canada, Scott joined the University of North Carolina Hockey Team in August 2023 as an Assistant Coach. Growing up in Halifax, Nova Scotia, he’s held various roles both on and off the ice. During his younger years, he played for teams spanning from Major Midget to Junior and Senior AAA leagues. Off the ice, Scott’s held roles with the American Hockey League (AHL) and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). As a coach, he led teams ranging from house league to AAA, including coaching gigs for each of his sons’ teams.
When he’s not on the ice, you’ll find Scott working at his day job as a banker or perfecting his grilling skills on the Big Green Egg. He lives in Cary, NC with his wife and 2 sons.
