Co-Director of Media Relations & Marketing

James is in his second full-time season with the Tar Heels. He started out as the team photographer and quickly worked his way up to Co-Director of Media Relations and Marketing. James has been working in sports since 2018 where he was a member of the Fayetteville Marksmen organization. After relocating to Greensboro, N.C., James joined the Carolina Thunderbirds of the FPHL where they won the 2018-2019 FPHL Commissioner’s Cup Championship. After five seasons as team photographer, James got an opportunity to photograph the Carolina Hurricanes of the NHL (a gig he still has to this day).

James is in the process of obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Marketing at Liberty University.
