General Manager
Colin Wahl brings decades of leadership experience to the UNC Hockey Booster Club, combining a distinguished background in finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, and academia. Prior to his current role, Colin held senior positions at KPMG and Procter & Gamble, launched and exited multiple successful ventures, and served as a lecturer in UNC’s Kenan-Flagler MBA program. He is also the author of Wired to Your Market, a guide to strategic marketing and consumer engagement.
As General Manager, Colin helps oversee the club’s financial operations, fundraising strategy, communications, digital platforms, scheduling, team travel, and broadcast coordination. His hands-on approach and strategic vision have helped elevate the program’s visibility and deepen its impact across the university and local hockey community.
A lifelong hockey enthusiast, Colin has played the sport competitively and recreationally since childhood. He holds degrees from the University of Toronto and the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor. In addition, he holds professional degrees as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Accountant CA). Colin lives in Chapel Hill with his wife, Kerri, and is a proud father of four and grandfather to four.
