Ara Nazarian brings a distinguished hockey pedigree shaped by years of competitive play and leadership across multiple levels of the sport. A three-time state champion at Malden Catholic High School, he earned the prestigious Mr. Hockey Award, recognizing him as Massachusetts’ top high school player.
He continued his career in the United States Hockey League (USHL) with the Des Moines Buccaneers before advancing to NCAA Division I competition at the University of New Hampshire. Competing in Hockey East—one of the nation’s premier collegiate conferences—Ara served as assistant captain while earning a Bachelor of Science in Sports Studies with a minor in Business Administration.
Ara’s professional playing career spanned six seasons across North America and Europe, including time in the ECHL, AHL, Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL), and the Champions Hockey League, which features top-tier European clubs. He most recently played for the Orlando Solar Bears before transitioning into management.
Ara holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Studies from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA from Lasell University.
